Youth and young adults must understand how to communicate effectively through various writing styles. Building on the foundational writing skills learned in classrooms these sessions provide relevant, hands-on scenarios that connect with attendee’s lived experiences.

Do The Write Thing is a 4-hour writing session for youth (ages 14 and up) to engage in writing-strengthening sessions that focus on practical tips and real-time application of shared knowledge from session presenters.

Writing effective speeches will amplify youth’s voice; knowledge of how to construct a compelling, well-flowing email can convey clear intentions and capture attention; utilizing journaling skills can be therapeutic for teens in dealing with rising priorities.

Youth attendees who immerse in this experience are promised to gain invaluable writing skills that advance their communication and writing expressions.
